the two arches are cold-laminated in solid english ash with layers of walnut veneer sandwiched in between to highlight the layersthe glass was actually removed from Barcelona’s Santa Maria del Mar church during a refurbdetail showing the layers of ash and walnut veneer and the through tenons with contrasting wedges. this was actually my second project back when i was studying furniture making in 1998.
