A series of 10 benches for Brooks & Wood Construction Ltd on behalf of Ipswich Borough Council, running from the Town Hall down to the Ipswich Waterfront

All the very heavy-duty galvanised and then powdercoated metalwork, as ever, was supplied by the great lads at Sharp Metalworks of Manningtree

The two seat heights were introduced to cater for different body sizes and add an element of interest to the design

The benches were designed to work with the newly-installed planters

And all the local sustainable oak was supplied by the wonderful volunteers of the Greenways Countryside Project and was needs-must-felled in the parks and nature reserves of the town, financially securing the future of the great work they do.
